Army Medical College Jashore Eligibility Criteria

Admission Following terms and conditions govern the admission and pursuance of the course of study in Army Medical Colleges.

Eligibility for Admission: Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Educational qualification – Must have passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or their equivalent examinations having Physics, Chemistry and Biology in HSC or its

The minimum educational performances are as follows:

  • The students must have total GPA 00 & minimum GPA 4.00 in each of SSC & HSC or its equivalent examinations.
  • For Tribal candidates, applicant must have total GPA 00 and min GPA 3.50 in each of SSC & HSC or its equivalent examination.

Candidates completed O & A level should have same minimum standard as of Bangla Medium. Candidates desirous of applying in AMC shall have to obtain an equivalent mark sheet/certificate/grade

  • Candidates must have Grade point 3.50 in Biology in HSC or in equivalent

  • Candidate has to complete the form by typing or selecting options. In addition, attaching the following two documents are required:
  • Photo – Recent, Size: 300 / 300 Pixel & less than 100 kb and jpg format.
  • Signature – Recent Size: 80/300 Pixel & less than 60 kb and jpg format.

On successful completion of the form, candidate shall select „submission‟. A “Student’s Copy” of submitted form shall Appear.

  • Candidate has to pay Tk 1,000/- (One Thousand only) by Taletalk number within 48 hrs of submission of The submission form will be cancelled for any candidate failing to do so. However, that candidate can submit application again, if the last date of submission still prevails.
  • Candidates selected for written examination will get SMS Those selected candidates will be able to download „Admit Card‟ using user name and password from the same web address during last 4 days prior to exam. Admit card may be colour/black & white print, preferably laser print. Roll number, date & time of examination, Examination Centre and various instructions will be on „Admit Card‟.
  • For O/A Level both passed They must put GPA/GP as per the equivalent certificate issued from Directorate General of Health Services of Bangladesh Government.
  1. Entrance Candidates are selected for written examination on the basis of SSC and HSC results and other criteria as mentioned above. Basing on merit & quota total 4000 (approx.) candidates will be allowed to sit for the written examination.
    • The candidates will appear at written examination (MCQ) of 100 marks (Syllabus HSC/ equivalent). For each correct respond candidates will get „1‟ & for each wrong respond 25 marks shall be deducted. Distribution of marks is as under:

For SSC or its equivalent examination, 15 times of GPA score and for HSC or its equivalent examination, 25 times of GPA score will be added to make final Merit List.

Mode of paying the fees

  1. The fees will be paid as follows:
  2. Intern fee for all Student (a,b): Taka 00 is payable during admission. This amount will be paid back to the respective students at the rate of Taka 10000.00 per month as intern pay.
  3. Re-admission fee for all Student is Taka 00.
  4. For 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year all fees other than admission fee, development fee and caution money are payable on quarterly However, students may pay these fees on half yearly or yearly basis also.

All fees other than admission fee and caution money are payable on quarterly basis and are to be paid 15 days prior to the quarter e. fees for quarter ending September, December, March and June are to be paid by 15th of June, September, December and March respectively. All payments are to be made in time through Trust Bank, Cantonment Branch, of respective area/division; Defaulters will be dealt with as per Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) of the College.
